This is a primarily Pediatric Hospitalist role with potential coverage with the newborn Hospitalist service line, as needed. Blend of shift Options. 51 bed Level III NICU staffed by neonatology team. 34 bed mother baby unit. 19 bed pediatric unit. 9 bed PICU staffed by pediatric intensivists. Opportunity to work with FM residents and medical students. New MFM fellowship. Average 30000 patient admissions per year to pediatric inpatient units. Approx 4000 deliveries per year. Approx 4500 pediatric surgeries per year. 14000 pediatric ER visits. Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55 county area. Local regional airport.
