Job Responsibilities
• Participate in newborn call rotation with majority of call volume focused on newborn care
• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage as needed
• Manage pediatric admissions and assigned rounding responsibilities
• Support weekend call-only coverage blocks when scheduled
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely patient updates
Qualifications
• Board Certified Pediatrics required
• PALS required
• NRP required
• Must be comfortable with inpatient and outpatient pediatric coverage
• Strong newborn care experience required
• Must be able to manage admissions and rounding responsibilities
Working Hours
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + call rotation
• Call Coverage Need: Approximately 10 days per month
• Coverage blocks may include clinic-only, clinic + call, and weekend call-only
Schedule Highlights
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00a–12:00p and 1:00p–5:00p
• Friday: 8:00a–12:00p
