A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Northern California is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatrician for an Associate Medical Director, Pediatrics position. This role combines clinical practice with physician leadership, supporting pediatric provider performance, clinical quality, and patient care across designated sites.
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor pediatric provider performance and support quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in peer review and annual provider evaluations
• Improve workflows, policies, and EHR templates for Pediatrics
• Support referral standards and specialty access improvements
• Promote professionalism, collaboration, and excellent patient-centered care
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency
• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• 3+ years recent outpatient experience
• Leadership/management experience
• BLS required (PALS preferred)
Working Hours
• Typical full-time structure:
o 30-32 hours/week clinical
o 8-10 hours/week administrative/leadership time
