Our client, a well-established healthcare provider dedicated to delivering comprehensive pediatric care in a new, state-of-the-art facility, is hiring a Pediatrician. This vital role offers an opportunity to impact children's health within a dynamic, supportive environment committed to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality outpatient pediatric care to children from birth to 21 years, including routine check-ups, immunizations, developmental screenings, and management of acute illnesses.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including vision, hearing, and growth monitoring, as well as blood tests for various conditions.
  • Offer specialized services such as autism screening, asthma management, mental health assessments, and obesity counseling.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately in the EMR (ECW) and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage with patients’ families to educate on health, safety, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and state/federal regulations.
  • Communicate and engage with families while explaining complex medical information clearly.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice pediatrics in New York State
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Experience in an outpatient pediatric settings
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting.
