Job description
We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician (MD/DO) to join a well-established, multi-location outpatient pediatric practice on a part-time basis. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive pediatric primary care in a supportive, well-organized clinical environment. The position offers no hospital rounds, a pediatric-specific EMR system, and strong clinical and administrative support. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and is interested in a long-term outpatient opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine well-child visits, sick visits, and preventive care services
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using a pediatric-focused EMR system
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Educate patients and families on health, wellness, and disease prevention
Participate in scheduled weekend coverage as required
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license
Valid DEA and CDS certifications
Minimum of 1–2 years of pediatric clinical experience required
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality pediatric care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based outpatient practice
Commitment to a long-term position (no locum tenens)
Working Hours
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekend Shifts:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Requirement:
Full-Time: 2 weekend days per month
Part-Time: 1 weekend day per month
On-Call Schedule:
Approximately 2 weeks every 8–9 months
No hospital rounds required
