Location: Fleming Island, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday (No Weekends) Hours: Flexible Options | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:30 AM 6:00 PM


About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join our thriving practice in Fleming Island. This is a high-volume primary care environment focused on delivering exceptional medical care to children from birth through age 18.

Qualifications

  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics, or Board Eligible within 2 years of completing residency
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply! We are also seeking experienced physicians comfortable with a fast-paced outpatient setting.
  • Licensure: Active Florida Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date).
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication with families, and the ability to maintain efficiency in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Primary Care: Provide full-scope pediatric care, including well-child exams, sports physicals, and acute/sick visits for patients ages 018.
  • Clinical Management: Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, ADHD, obesity).
  • Preventative Health: Perform developmental screenings and provide age-appropriate anticipatory guidance on nutrition, safety, and behavioral health.
  • Diagnostic Oversight: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging, to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside our dedicated clinical staff and mid-level providers to provide a seamless patient experience.
