Coverage Needed
- Start Date: Second or third week of February 2026
- End Date: Ongoing coverage in 2026
- Schedule: 7 days per month, 24-hour call
Clinical Details
- Setting: Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics Unit/Level II nursery
- Patients per Day: 2-3
- EMR: Meditech
- Support Staff: Nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians for consultation, NICU near with consulting physicians
- Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC, lumbar punctures
- Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients
- Do not deliver patients less than 36 weeks if possible
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible - Highly Preferred
- ND License or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Clean Malpractice
- A Self-Query NPDB report, must be dated within 30 days
