Locum - Pediatrics - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Pediatric Physician

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a Critical Access Hospital in Dickinson, North Dakota, providing pediatric care in a collaborative environment. This position involves a 24-hour call schedule, 7 days per month, and plays a crucial role in a Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics Unit with a Level II nursery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend vaginal deliveries and all scheduled and emergent C-sections.
• Admit and discharge newborns and care for pediatric patients.
• Perform required procedures such as circumcisions and newborn resuscitations.
• Consult with local pediatricians and collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and respiratory therapists.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation.
• Coordinate with NICU in Bismarck for patient transfers when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (highly preferred)
• North Dakota Medical License or IMLC (required)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required)
• Clean malpractice history (required)
• Availability for credentialing and name clear at time of submission (required)
• Recent Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (required)
