Hospital in Dickinson, ND is looking for a Pediatric locum to work 24hr call 7 days per month
Job Responsibilities
Setting: Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Deliver/Pediatrics Unit/Level II nursery
Duties Required: Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, circumcisions
Days per month:7 days per month
Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/ intubations/UVC , lumbar punctures
EMR:Meditech
Support Staff: Nursing team. Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, ob/gyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians to consult with, NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians.
Reason for Coverage: Current locum was not a good fit.
Qualifications
ND License or IMLC - [Required]
ACLS, BLS, PALS,NRP - [Required]
100% Clean Malpractice/License/Background - [Required]
Availability at time of name clear - [Required]
A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - [REQUIRED]
Working Hours
7 days per month, 24 hour call.
Need second or third week of Feb
