Position: Pediatrician- Sacramento, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift
Pay: $220,000 - $280,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join a mission-driven community health organization serving underserved and diverse pediatric populations. This role is ideal for providers passionate about improving access to high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for patients from birth through age 19
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and developmental needs.
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide patient and family education and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Maintain timely documentation and manage in-basket tasks.

Patient Volume & Workflow

  • Average 3 patients per hour (20-minute visits)
  • Includes 2 telehealth visits per day
  • Dedicated administrative time daily
  • Charts completed within 72 hours.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school (ECFMG/Fifth Pathway accepted)
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • DEA and CPR certification required
  • 1-2 years of experience in FQHC or underserved settings preferred
  • Strong commitment to serving medically underserved families
