Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Pediatric Surgery.
- Proven experience in pediatric surgical procedures, including congenital anomalies, trauma, and follow-up care.
- Strong technical skills with attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with patients' families.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to emergency situations promptly.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in minimally invasive or robotic surgery.
- Experience working in a high-volume pediatric surgical center.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency and fellowship in Pediatric Surgery.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship surgical experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must hold active medical licensing and applicable certifications.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- May require travel for certain procedures or conferences.
