Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for inpatient admissions
• Conduct hospital rounding
• Manage non-invasive and invasive pediatric procedures
• Collaborate with peds nursing staff

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Preferred skills in pediatric procedures such as ventilation management, intubation, sedation, central and arterial line insertion, and more

Working Hours

• 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Skills

• Proficient in pediatric acute and chronic care
• Skilled in a range of pediatric procedures including intubation and ventilation management
• Competent in interpreting X-rays and EKGs
• Ability to perform conscious and deep sedation, circumcisions, and suturing of minor lacerations
