- Coverage Type: 24-hour call (7a–7a)
- Setting: Inpatient & Call
🩺 Scope of Practice
- Newborn care
- Inpatient pediatrics
- Circumcisions
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Management of respiratory and infectious illnesses in young patients
Clinical Snapshot:
- Level I Nursery
- ~250 deliveries per year
- ~40–50 pediatric admissions annually
- No routine pediatric ICU coverage
🤝 Support & Systems
- Epic EMR
- Structured EMR onboarding and virtual training
- Clear credentialing pathway with potential for emergency/temporary privileges
✅ Requirements :
- Board-Certified Pediatrician
- Active state license or IMLC
- Comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and inpatient pediatrics
- Willing to work 24-hour call shifts
