Locums | Child & Adolescent Psychiatry | No Call | Bangor, ME Why This Role

  • Full-time weekday psychiatry coverage needed for an ongoing assignment
  • No call, nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Inpatient child and adolescent caseload with strong support staff
Assignment Details Start Date: February 23, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only Setting: Inpatient psychiatry Patients per shift: 34 Beds in department: 50 EMR: Cerner Temporary privileges: Not available Support staff: RNs (3), MAs (2), APPs (6), office staff (4) Multiple providers accepted: No Clinical Details Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatry No call responsibilities No admissions required Treatment mix includes anxiety, affective disorders, ADHD, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders Therapeutic approaches include pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy No ECT, no involuntary commitments required Requirements Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry Child & Adolescent Psychiatry experience No specific state license requirement Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days (temps may be possible) Clean NPDB/malpractice preferred (documentation required if not clean) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
