DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Job Title: Pediatrician
- Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
- Location: Hobart, IN (Chicagoland Area)
- Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Start Date: Negotiable (credentialing typically 90120 days) PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
- Patient Demographics: Pediatrics, including newborns
- Average Daily Volume / Census: Outpatient pediatric care with inpatient newborn rounding
- Admissions & Rounding: Included
- Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
- Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General Pediatrics FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
- Beds in Department/Unit: Pediatrics within multi-specialty hospital system
- EMR System: Epic fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII
- Specialty Backup: Network of subspecialists within a four-hospital system
- Support Staff: Collegial group of physicians and multidisciplinary staff
- Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports within Community Healthcare System physician group

- Provide newborn rounding and ongoing pediatric consultations
- Collaborate with system physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the health system
