Pediatric Hospitalist – Las Vegas, Nevada Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a pediatric hospital medicine team at a major tertiary-care children’s facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The hospital features the state’s largest and most comprehensive NICU and PICU, along with full pediatric specialty support. Position Highlights -Full-time schedule (2016 hours annually) -BC/BE Pediatrician -Varied shifts: mix of in-house and call-from-home -Team of 8 pediatric hospitalists -46-bed pediatric floor -Average daily census: 25–30 patients -Supported by pediatric intensivists (24-bed PICU + 14-bed CVICU) -Pediatric emergency medicine physicians staff a 30-bed pediatric ER -72-bed Level IV NICU covered by neonatology -Academic affiliation available (residents rotate through) -Nearly full array of pediatric subspecialty support -Only dedicated tertiary-care pediatric facility in the state -Level II Pediatric Trauma Center -Shared campus with an 834-bed adult medical center Requirements / Candidate Parameters -Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Pediatrics -Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain -At least 1 year of current inpatient pediatric hospitalist experience -Must provide case logs from the last 12 months during the interview -Not accepting visa candidates -Not accepting locums candidates -Will not accept candidates needing to regain lapsed board certification Compensation and Benefits -Competitive Compensation -Relocation assistance may be available -Health insurance including prescription coverage -Dental and vision insurance -Life insurance -Short- and long-term disability options -Employee stock purchase program (discounted rates) -401(k) with company match -Health Savings Account (HSA) -Flexible Spending Account (FSA) -Aflac supplemental plans (hospital, critical illness, accident) -Identity protection services -Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
