Job Details

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm in clinic; inpatient call rotation 1:3
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinic-based pediatric care to patients from newborn through 17 years old
- See 13–15 patients per day on call days and approximately 20 patients per day on non-call days
- Conduct well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral/ADHD management
- Schedule 20- and 40-minute appointments as appropriate
- Cover inpatient pediatric admissions (rare, typically older adolescents)
- Manage newborn nursery census of 1–5 babies per day
- Attend deliveries when indicated by OB/FBC staff or per high-risk criteria
- Handle after-hours “Mommy Calls” (average 0–10 per night, higher in winter months)
- Collaborate with OB, FBC, and hospital staff as needed
Additional Information
- Must have completed at least 25 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-section assists within the past 24 months
- Experience with both clinic and hospital settings preferred
- Board certification in Pediatrics required
- Oregon state medical license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Must be comfortable attending deliveries per OB high-risk criteria
