Inpatient Pediatrician / Pediatric Hospitalist – Community-Based Practice

Academic Opportunities
* Precept and teach residents and other trainees
* Participate in research and scholarly activities

Job Description
* Provide direct care for inpatient pediatric admissions (approximately 50 annually)
* Manage newborns in a Level 1 nursery
* Provide consultative services for regional pediatric patients (clinic and hospital-based)
* Collaborate with regional and Rochester-based pediatric specialists
* Participate in practice development and departmental citizenship
Schedule
* Full-time (1.0 FTE) position with 24-hour shifts
* Average of 10 shifts per month
* Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital during assigned shifts
Qualifications
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics (ABP)
* Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin
