Position Overview:
Join a collaborative and well-resourced pediatric team providing exceptional care to children and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing, multidisciplinary environment with access to advanced facilities and a strong network of pediatric subspecialists.
Position Highlights:
* Proportionate call schedule with 24/7 inpatient coverage provided by Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Critical Care, and Neonatologists
* Multidisciplinary collaboration with pediatric subspecialists in cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, infectious disease, pulmonology, neurology, nephrology, and orthopedics
* State-of-the-art NICU (Level IIIb) with 42 beds, including individual, twin, and triplet rooms
* 18-bed Pediatric Unit and 5-bed PICU with continuous hospitalist and critical care physician coverage
* New Women’s & Children’s Tower scheduled for completion in 2027
* Academic appointments available through the USD School of Medicine
* Teaching opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents
* Research opportunities supported by a dedicated clinical research team
