We are seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 26, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage supporting pediatric cardiac catheterization services over the holiday period, with shifts running from 7am to 7am. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency call coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology cases
- Support pediatric cardiac catheterization service
- Respond to emergencies requiring procedural intervention as needed
- Work collaboratively in the Cath Lab alongside a dedicated physician assistant, registered nurses, and cardiovascular technologists
- Oversee patient care for step-down beds and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) beds
Additional Information
- Must hold a valid Maryland medical license
- Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Experience in pediatric interventional cardiology strongly preferred
- Locum will primarily support pediatric patients
