Job description
Seeking a locum pediatrician to provide 24-hour call coverage for 7 days per month. The provider will care for newborns and pediatric patients in a Critical Access Hospital with a Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics unit and Level II nursery.
Job Responsibilities
Admit, manage, and discharge newborns and pediatric patients
Perform required procedures including circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC, and lumbar punctures
Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, respiratory therapists, and local pediatricians
Coordinate transfers with Level II NICU in Bismarck (90 miles) if needed
Qualifications
North Dakota medical license or IMLC eligibility (required)
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required)
Clean malpractice history (required)
Availability at time of name clear (required)
