Job description We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician with strong leadership experience for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and offers a part-time schedule of two to three days per week, with shifts ranging from 16 to 24 hours. The role involves both clinical oversight and strategic leadership, ideal for candidates familiar with FQHC care models and APP management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversee advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Sign off on clinical charts
  • Participate in leadership meetings
  • Collaborate on growth and expansion initiatives
  • Review patient population and visit data
  • Contribute to marketing, new site development, and service line planning
  • Advise on pediatric department strategy and care models
  • Schedule providers and assign patient panels

Additional Information
  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Pediatrics required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Leadership experience (Director, Chief, Lead, etc.) highly preferred
  • Understanding of care gaps and experience with FQHC models and business analysis preferred
