We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician to join our dedicated team, delivering exceptional patient outcomes through advanced clinical expertise. Required Skills:
- Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric cardiac surgery patient management
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Advanced training in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and critical care protocols
- Leadership experience in a critical care setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Fellowship-certified in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care
- Minimum of 10 years of dedicated Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with pediatric cardiac units
Other Requirements:
- Availability for flexible scheduling including day and night shifts
- Ability to work up to 7 consecutive shifts, with a maximum of 4 night shifts in a row
- Possession of valid medical license and certifications applicable to the state
- Optional flexibility for coverage of cardiology patients on pediatric floors
- No travel required; standard shift coverage
