Overview
Seeking a passionate and experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join a well-established, state-of-the-art Cardiac ICU team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a permanent, full-time position with academic affiliation to the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine.

Position Highlights
Provide critical care in a 14-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Manage care for 400+ pediatric cardiac surgical cases annually
Only congenital heart surgical program in Nevada
Multidisciplinary team supporting ECMO and congenital heart catheterization programs
Dedicated 24-bed tertiary Pediatric ICU and 30-bed pediatric emergency department
Involvement with pediatric and neonatal transport services
Academic contributions with UNLV School of Medicine residents (pediatrics, family medicine, emergency medicine)
Participate in procedural sedation services
On-call and weekend coverage required as part of a rotational schedule

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
OR Pediatric Cardiology with additional CICU training
OR double-boarded in Pediatric ICU and Cardiology
Nevada medical license or eligibility to obtain
DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
Clean malpractice and license history preferred
Local residency required or willingness to relocate
