Seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician for 24-hour newborn nursery call coverage. Providers will manage routine newborn care with 24/7 neonatologist access and transfer capability to the NICU in Traverse City. High-priority need starting November 26, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
Job Responsibilities
• Pager/Cell call
• Collaborate with neonatologists as needed
• Transfer critical cases to NICU in Traverse City
• Document in Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• NRP & BLS Certified – REQUIRED
• Clean history – REQUIRED
• Michigan License – REQUIRED
• Must participate with MI Medicaid/CHAMPS – REQUIRED
• Local, drive-in candidates only – REQUIRED
Working Hours
• Must be available: Nov. 26–28 and Dec. 24–Jan. 2
Skills
• Emergency stabilization and transfer coordination
• Proficient in Cerner (preferred)
