Pediatric/General Anesthesiologist opening in Urbana, IL Full-time No J1/H1 Salary Range: $500,000.00 to $505,000.00 / Year Job Details: Pediatric/General Anesthesiologist to join our expanding Anesthesia team in Urbana, Illinois. Opportunity Details:
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred
- Candidates must be open to covering both General and Pediatric Anesthesia cases
- 11 weeks of vacation
- Join a collegial team of over 11 General Anesthesiologists, 2 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 60+ CRNAs
- Call schedule of ~1:8
- Level I Trauma hospital with Open Heart (basic TEE skills with proctoring available), Trauma, and Neurosurgical cases and has 22 ORs running on blocks averaging 75 cases per day
- Provide service across our enterprise and our new 23,000 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center

- Majority of cases are medical-direction of CRNAs
- Opportunity to oversee a wide variety of cases (excludes transplants, burns and pediatric hearts)
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
- Onsite Inpatient specialty support includes; Neonatologists and Pediatric Hospitalist service. Additional outpatient pediatric specialties such as Maternal Fetal Medicine, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Psychology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Infectious Disease
- The compensation range for this position is $500,000 - $505,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
