Important Note: For Part-Time position, you have to work 2 days in Owen County & 2 days in Bedford
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join a community-based outpatient health center in Spencer, Indiana. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive pediatric care to underserved and diverse patient populations in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven, focused on improving health outcomes, and committed to delivering patient-centered care. This is a 100% outpatient position with no weekends, evenings, or on-call duties, making it ideal for physicians seeking a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, outpatient pediatric care in a team-based environment
- Maintain a patient load of approximately 18-20 patients per day (full-time)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and integrated behavioral health staff
- Participate in clinical decision-making and patient-centered care coordination
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely documentation
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
- No weekend, evening, or on-call responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, licensing, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Interest in working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar community health setting
