Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join a community-based outpatient health center in Spencer, Indiana. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive pediatric care to underserved and diverse patient populations in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven, focused on improving health outcomes, and committed to delivering patient-centered care. This is a 100% outpatient position with no weekends, evenings, or on-call duties, making it ideal for physicians seeking a healthy work-life balance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, outpatient pediatric care in a team-based environment
  • Maintain a patient load of approximately 18-20 patients per day (full-time)
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and integrated behavioral health staff
  • Participate in clinical decision-making and patient-centered care coordination
  • Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely documentation
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
  • No weekend, evening, or on-call responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, licensing, and regulatory standards


Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Interest in working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar community health setting
  • New graduates welcome to apply
