Pediatrician Opportunity in Rock Springs, Wyoming

Step into an established pediatric practice with built-in demand and the ability to make an immediate impact. This full-time Pediatrician role offers the rare opportunity to take over a busy panel with minimal regional competition and strong hospital backing. If you're looking for autonomy, meaningful community presence, and long-term stability, this position delivers.


Practice Overview

  • Take over a high-volume, established practice supported by three experienced nurse practitioners and a strong office team
  • 3,000+ active pediatric patients with appointments booked 2-5 weeks out
  • Inpatient responsibilities include newborn rounding, pediatric admissions, C-sections upon request, and circumcisions
  • Integrated Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and strong hospitalist/ED support


Schedule

  • Full-time schedule, typically five days per week, with flexibility to create a consistent alternative schedule
  • Average of 12 patients per day with consistent demand and growth opportunity
  • Call up to 10 days per month
  • Broad service area of approximately 50,000 residents across Southwest Wyoming


Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary of $300,000
  • $30,000 signing bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance (flexible based on need)
  • Up to $90,000 in student loan repayment ($30,000 annually for three years)
  • 401(k) with 7% employer match, malpractice with tail, PTO, CME time and allowance


Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Comfortable managing inpatient pediatric admissions and newborn rounding
  • Willing to participate in delivery attendance and procedural responsibilities such as circumcisions
  • Interest in building long-term relationships within a community-focused practice
