Locum Tenens Pediatrician (MD/DO) – 100% Outpatient – Flexible Schedule

MedCare Staffing is currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a well-established solo outpatient pediatric practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician to provide compassionate care to a pediatric population ranging from newborns to young adults.

Position Highlights:

• Specialty: Pediatrics (MD/DO)
• Board Certification: BC/BE required
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Flexible; specific work hours TBD with client
• Office Hours:
  • Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Lunch Break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (office closed during lunch)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 3–4 patients per hour
• Patient Population: 100% pediatrics (ages 0–21)
• Setting: Solo practice, 100% outpatient
• Support Staff: Front and back-office support, including nurses and medical assistants
• EMR: Veradigm (formerly Allscripts)

Qualifications:

• Active medical license in applicable state
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Current DEA license
• BLS Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• EMR experience preferred (training provided if needed)
