Pediatric EM Assistant Medical Director Opening in Austin, TX Full-time, Employed Seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician with leadership experience to serve as Assistant Medical Director. * Flexible scheduling * Level 4 Trauma Center has 10 ED beds and an annual volume of approximately 29k. * This is a separate emergency department, medical-surgical inpatient unit and pediatric intensive care unit for children ages 17 and under. * We are staffed with PEM certified physicians, pediatric hospitalists, advanced practice clinicians, intensivists and other specialists specifically trained to care for children. * Excellent specialty back up is available, including pediatric surgery, neurology, urology, ENT and gastroenterology to name a few. * We also have pediatric radiologists with capability for a multitude of interventional services. * ABEM/ABOEM/ABP certified as well as pediatric emergency fellowship certified or eligible Benefits * Competitive compensation with night differential and bonus incentives. * Full comprehensive benefits * Monthly director stipend * Sign on bonus * Professional liability insurance and tail coverage * 401K * No state income tax Austin is so much more than the "Live Music Capital of the World"!
