Job Responsibilities
Provide outpatient pediatric care
Round on newborns in a Level 1 nursery
Attend C-sections at hospital birth center
Participate in a 1:4 call schedule
Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital when on call
Support a practice that is the only pediatric provider within a 20+ mile radius
Engage in community outreach and activities as desired
Call Ratio : 1:4 with 20 minutes Max response.
On call requirement : Must be within 20 Minutes of the Hospital when on a call.
Hospital Coverage : Single Hospital only
Opportunities for community involvement/activities
Must be willing to perform required responsibilities
Practice consists of 4 physicians, 2 full-time CNPs, 2 part-time CNPs, 1 part-time behavioral health CNP, and lactation consultant
Only pediatrics practice in 20+ mile radius
Support from Nationwide & Dayton Children's for newborn transfers
Approximately 400 births per year at hospital's birth center
