Job Opportunity: Pediatric Neurologist

This innovative facility is dedicated to developing a full range of pediatric subspecialties and is committed to undergraduate and graduate medical education while providing exceptional care to the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care for pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient services.
• Participate in resident and medical student education.
• Work in a rapidly expanding pediatric department alongside fellowship-trained specialists.
• Conduct EEG and sleep study interpretation.
• Engage in research and academic pursuits with allocated time.
• Utilize a vast primary care referral network to enhance patient care.
• Promote positive change and development throughout the region.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with a Special Qualification in Child Neurology.
• Fellowship training in pediatric neurology (to be completed prior to start).
• Demonstrated exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching.
• Experience in scholarly activities is preferred.
• All candidate ranks will be considered, with a preference for assistant or associate professor levels.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Controlled Substance License CSR/CDS (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
• Permanent Placement Fee applicable.
