Pediatric Hospitalist Opening in Oxford, NC (Permanent) 45 minutes to Raleigh, NC Seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide direct inpatient care to pediatric patients in a rural hospital setting. Responsible for managing acute and chronic conditions, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow evidence-based guidelines for quality patient care. Participate in quality assurance initiatives, continuing education, and peer reviews. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements: MD or DO with a valid North Carolina medical license or eligibility. Completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics. Board Certification or Eligibility in the respective specialty. Strong clinical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and a patient-centered approach.
