Job Title: Locums Pediatrician

Location: Hyattsville, MD

Description: We are seeking a Pediatrician for a locum tenens position in a well-established outpatient pediatric practice. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with start dates in July/August.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician
  • Current Maryland License
  • Clean Databank
  • No significant malpractice history

Practice Details:

  • Flexible full-time or part-time schedules
  • Supported by a seasoned staff of 8, with most having over 10 years of experience
  • Staff handles various tasks including strep testing

Location:

  • The practice is situated in a Maryland suburb of Washington, DC

Office Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (closed 1 hour for lunch)
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Other Details:

  • Outpatient only
  • Paper charts available, with EMR implemented
  • Prescription stamps and E-prescribing utilized
  • Patient Census: 25-30 patients per day per provider
  • Walk-ins: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM
  • Scheduled Appointments: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
