- Work Dates Needed: Urgent coverage needed May 11-15; Aug 16 - Dec 31, 2024*Potential ongoing needs.
- Preferred Schedule:24/7 Call coverage (7a-7a)
- Worksite Setting: Hospital | Northeastern California
- Scope of Work: Solo; General inpatient | Newborn care | Newborn resuscitation | Surgical assisting *preferred | Suturing of minor lacerations | Incision & drainage | Ventilation management - establishing and maintaining airway, various modes of ventilation for up to 24hrs without pulmonary consultation | Avg pediatric admissions per year 20-30 | Locums will respond to in-house codes and be expected to provide backup for the ED | Avg annual ED volume 13,500; 2% is trauma | After-hours admissions go through ED and direct admits from local clinics | ED transfers have option of 2 centers
