A private practice with creds about 2-4 weeks is seeking a pediatrician for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Long Island, New York, kayak or canoe along the river, go on the Long Island winery tour, or visit the Planting Fields Arboretum!
The schedule entails Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays until 7 pm. Additionally, availability for two Saturdays a month is required, with a day off during the week in exchange. The workload consists of 20-25 patients per day, catering to newborns through 19-year-olds, utilizing the ECW EMR system and necessitating fluent Spanish proficiency. The role focuses on wellness and sick visits, with no procedural requirements. The team includes other MDs, MA, LPN, and 2 NPs, with a 2-4 week credentialing time. Dedicated time for administrative duties is provided during a 1.5-hour working lunch.
