Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Director/Physician, who will be reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director/Physician provides general medical services to patients. Additionally, they work with the COO and CMO to supervise the operations of the medical department at that site and maintain medical policies and standards.

Medical Director - Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversees and manages Medical Department providers in providing high-quality services.

• Works with operations to improve workflow and efficiency in the Medical Department

• Works with operations to improve EHR workflows and efficiencies.

• Hires, trains, supervises, disciplines, and evaluates medical providers at their site

• Conducts record reviews and other Quality Improvement activities, and participates in the Quality Improvement program for the Medical Department

Physician (Family/Internal/Pediatric) - Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides general medical services to patients of all ages as appropriate for specialty and licensure.

• Provides emergency services when appropriate.

• Makes referrals to appropriate sub-specialists for specialized examination, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Coordinates with other departments to ensure adequate follow-up and continuity of care

• Works with other clinic health professionals in providing comprehensive high- quality care to patients

Qualification/Experience:

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited college or university

• Board certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics

• 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a community clinic setting

• 2 years of Supervisory/Leadership experience in a clinical setting preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• State California Medical License in good standing

• Active DEA License
