- Work Dates Needed: Mid May for three months with the option to extend.
- Preferred Schedule: 24/7 everyday for weekly coverage
- Worksite Setting: Telehealth
- Scope of Work:
- The doctor completes an assessment that includes review of history and previous diagnostic testing, physical examination, additional diagnostic testing, and interpretation. In collaboration with neonatology and other sub-specialists he/she confirms the diagnosis, develops a plan of care and predicts prognosis.
- Read routine and continuous EEG's.
- Average number of studies is 1-2 / month.
- There is a company that reads the continuous but contact the locum for assistance / issues. The physician will communicate will the neonatologist.
- The role components of the Pediatric Neurologist include the following: Neonatal EEG analysis, interpretation and reporting
- Unrestricted on call coverage 24/7 for remote evaluation of continuous EEGs
- Unrestricted on call coverage 24/7 for remote evaluation of the shorter and more routine spot EEGs
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: License / BC
