Qualifications:

  • Perform assessments and provide treatment to clients of the clinic.

  • Keep scheduled hours for, work hours to remain flexible according to the needs of clinic expansion.

  • Meet or exceed productivity requirements as set forth by the Medical Director of Pediatrics.

  • Follow clinical diagnostic and evidence based treatment protocols for pediatric treatment.

  • Remain available by phone during regularly schedule hours should assistance be required.

  • Assist in the review and development of patient education material and practice guidelines

  • Provide supervision of health care students assigned to the clinic for educational purposes.

  • Develop and maintain a program for clinical quality assurance.

  • Supervision of non-physician providers, including Licensed Therapists, Certified Nurse

  • Practitioners, and Certified Physicians Assistants with respect to pediatric treatment.

    Attend staff meetings and committees as directed and punctually.

  • Participates in the Performance Improvement Program

  • Participate in on call rotation for afterhours and weekend coverage for department

  • Medical Doctorate with current licensure, MD, DO

  • Board certified in Pediatrics.

  • Possess an interest in working with newborn to adolescents.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred

  • Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.

  • Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.

  • Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.

  • Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community, and the general public.

  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation,

  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

  • Ability to meet Legacy Community Health’s EPIC proficiency requirements

  • Must be proficient with all aspects of EMR.
