**Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Findlay, Ohio**
- Located in Findlay, OH - 45 minutes to Toledo, OH
**Position Details**
- Full-time; Permanent
- We welcome residents, new grads and experienced physicians to consider our Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity
- Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery
- Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults
- Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care
- Average of 1,000 deliveries/year
- Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care
- Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care)
- Six, 24-hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block
- Hospitalist service admits patients
- Nationwide Childrens Hospital collaborative partnership
- Offers access to pediatric specialists, pediatric research and clinical trials to NW Ohio
- BVHS physicians receive advanced education, training, direct consultation with Nationwide Childrens specialists
