Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Pediatrician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Queens, New York

Schedule of the Pediatrician:

  • This is a Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Pediatrician:

  • Takes histories, performs physical examinations, and prescribes treatment and medication for conditions falling in the scope of his /her specialty following evidence-based standard of care.
  • Provides off-hours and hospital coverage for Health Center patients where contractually obligated to do so.
  • Designs and participates in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviews.
  • Provides supervision for clinical activities of medical providers and medical documentation in his/her department, including but not limited to review of protocols, telephone triage, and follow-up procedures.
  • Coordinates tests, referrals, and care of SRH patients outside the Health Center.
  • Sets standards for preventive care and diagnostic screening within his/her specialty; participates in the development of programs to carry out these standards.
  • Maintains legible and appropriate documentation of medical records.
  • Participates and attends provider meetings.
  • Provides safe and successful performance, including meeting productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards.
