Join a mission-driven Community Health Center seeking a BC/BE pediatric physician to provide direct primary care services and to expand vaccine and community outreach health care services with an emphasis on modifiable disease detection to the multi-cultural population in the Erie, PA area.

The pediatrician will work with a dedicated team of other physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, transportation volunteers, and interpreters to serve local resettled refugees and migrants from many different ethnic backgrounds, public housing residents, and other individuals with limited access to health services in the northwest Pennsylvania region.

  • Full-time or Part-time, outpatient position
  • Daytime hours five 8-hour or four 10-hour days
  • No weekend or evening hours.
  • Limited 1:6 telephone call. Refer inpatient and emergency care to local hospitals.

Our extensive partnership and referral network and a progressive internal medical case management program will assist your patients who need additional services such as behavioral health, drug & alcohol treatment, specialty care, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, hospitalization, lab, x-ray, vision, and dental care.

Qualifications

- MD/DO and successful completion of an approved residency program in pediatrics
- BC/BE in pediatrics
- Current Pennsylvania medical license and DEA or ability to obtain.
- Good communication skills
- Clean malpractice history
- Ability to speak other foreign languages helpful but not required

Working Hours

Full time -- Work either Five 8-hour days (Monday through Friday) or four 10-hour days per week (40 hours per week) or if you chose part-time you may choose to work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, approximately 20 hours per week.
