**Pediatrician Opening - Athens, AL** Huntsville - 26m *Loan repayment of 50K for 3 years (150K total) awarded to physicians in rural practice provided through the state of Alabama* **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Mostly outpatient, no call - Employed Private practice - Join 1 DO on staff and 3 NPs - Each provider has their own MA- in the process of hiring a floater. Four receptionists. An office manager that oversees day-to-day operations of the practice. Group does not currently have any scribes. - Perfect candidate will be able to come in and absorb a full patient base, be a pillar of the community, and have a "no child turned away" attitude. - Schedules are flexible and open for negotiations! Rotating Saturdays from 8-12 is possible in the future, as we have found that adding Saturday hours is a WONDERFUL service to the community and would like to gradually do that. We do offer evening hours as well, so lots of room for flexible schedules. - Physician only has to be present for emergency C-Section delivery if requested by OB. - Newborn and Peds Inpatient rounding, admissions of patients seen in office that require hospitalization. - Currently, call is equally split between three Pediatricians. - Minimum averaging 20 patients per day. Bonus structure is production based and comes into play when provider is seeing, on average, more than 25 patients per day. ***Sign-on bonus of $20k. Relocation up to $10k*** - Health Insurance - Annual CME Allowance - Malpractice Insurance - 401K + 4% Employer Match - NHSC Loan Repayment* - 18 PTO Days - 6.5 Paid Holidays **Ideal Candidate** - Team Player with positive attitude that provides exceptional patient care to children, organized, fun and friendly, comfortable collaborating with NP, flexible, good communicator, able to close charts within 96 hours at most. **About the Group** - Owner of the practice has been established for more than 10 years and owns 5 pediatric offices in North Alabama. - If candidate is available to work prior to practice opening for operation, we would ask candidate to work four days per week as a Locums at one of the other clinics. This will allow the new physician to train and begin to establish a routine that can carry over to the new office in Troy once opened.
