* Seeking C/L and General Psychiatrist
The psychiatrist will help manage a robust C/L service covering approximately 400 med surg beds, as well as supporting a busy emergency department. The C/L service is also a primary teaching service for third year medical students, with regular opportunities for teaching. This is an ideal position for an early to mid-career C/L trained psychiatrist with interests in developing further CL expertise in emergency psychiatry, transplant psychiatry, critical care management and collaborative care. Additional aspects to the position will include opportunities for behavioral health clinician supervision in a collaborative care context, as well as general psychiatry practice. Psychiatrist will be eligible to apply for an academic appointment, and there are expected to be rich opportunities for career path development. There is an experienced psychiatric service director and department chair on site to provide clinical leadership.
