A well respected primary care health center located in beautiful Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a talented and dedicated, Full-Time permanent Pediatrician to join their growing team!

Pediatrician Responsibilities:

  • The Pediatrician will work as part of the medical provider team, performing a variety of direct primary care services to patients
  • Will provide general supervision to the Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
  • Provides inpatient care services and/or rounding on newborns
  • Obtains completes medical history, reviews medications, and performs complete physical examinations
  • Diagnoses acute and chronic illness on the basis of clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports, and/or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols
  • Implements treatment and prescribe medications as needed according to therapeutic goals
  • Formulates, initiates, and monitors management plans for assigned patients while following protocols
  • Provides health education to patients and their families as appropriate
  • Other duties may be included in employment contract

Pediatrician Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Completion of an approved residency program in Pediatric medicine
  • The Pediatrician must be board certified in Pediatrics, or board eligible (if recent graduate)
  • License to practice as a Physician in the state of Nebraska, or license eligible
  • BLS certification
  • Proficiency in English
