The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Pediatrician for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Position Details:
- Schedule: M-F, 8 hour days
- Clinic Hours: 8-5 M, T, F and 8-8 W, TH
- Call: very light phone calls in evenings for 1 of 6-7 nights, no patient care on weekend
- Patients: 12 – 16 per day on average
- Number of Exam Rooms for this provider: 3
- Other notes: Team player with excellent clinical skills
- Coming in 2023: This community health center will be moving to a centralized, best-in-class electronic health record, Epic. This will take place along with 10 other community health centers in Iowa. This nearly statewide collaboration is a new, unique national model, and will provide an integrated, standard, and comprehensive EHR system to support Iowa’s community health centers in both rural and urban areas of the state.

Health Center Overview:
- Private non-profit FQHC
- 2 sites located in Waterloo and Clarksville. And 3 Success Street School based clinics.
- Clinic provides primary medical, dental, behavioral health, and school-based care for more than 18,900 patients.

- Onsite lab, pharmacy, and x-ray services
- Full time interpretive services, homeless outreach, social work, and behavioral health services.
