Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Pediatrician to join our staff.
Description:
Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

All of our outpatient pediatric practices are NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home certified. This position is part of a large multi-specialist group centered in Cooperstown, New York.

Job Summary:
Join an established group of Pediatrician and Advanced Practice Clinicians.
Responsibilities:
- Primary outpatient clinic responsibility is at the Pediatric Clinic in Cooperstown, NY
- Pediatric Inpatient Service and Birthing Center at Bassett Medical Center (BMC) are primarily staffed by in-house advanced practice clinicians 24/7/365, a daytime hospitalist, and supported by on call pediatricians in Cooperstown for evenings and weekends.
- Pediatrician after hours on call at BMC is 1:6 weeknights and weekends for back up coverage of inpatient APC's in the hospital.
- Academic appointment as clinical faculty at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Opportunity to participate in our award-winning School-based Health Program which would require some regional patient care
