Specialty: Neonatologist / Pediatrician
Start Date: As soon as credentialed;
Contract Length: Estimated for 6 months with possible extension
Shift Details:
• WEEKDAY CALL: 5p-7a
• WEEKEND CALL: Friday at 12P to Monday at 7a
Schedule:
• SCHEDULE NOTE: ideally, qualified candidates may be available for a few weeknight calls and a rotation of weekend call coverage. Will consider several variables so just advise on what candidate is available to cover.
Work Details:
• Support Staff: There is one NP
• Patient Population/Age: 0-1 years
• Department Description: This hospital has the pediatricians covering the nursery and does not employ Neonatologists separately. One physician leaving 6/25. There are the 2 physicians still working currently. While one of the doctors is working, they’re doing 1 in 3 overnight call coverage. They rotate full weekend coverage (every 3rd weekend). They already had an open recruitment need, so are now recruiting for 2 doctors.
• Regarding C-sections: Limited ones-twins, stat caesarean, pre-term less than 36 weeks or at the request of the on-call OB doctor
• EMR: Epic (called CareConnect internally)

• Board Certification: BE or BC in Pediatrics or Neonatology
• License Required: OH License
• DEA: Yes

• Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
