Out-patient pediatric locum opportunity in Butler, PA where on-going coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: August 1, 2023
Coverage Needs Details:
- 8 am to 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday FT
- Evening and Weekend call
- Client is willing to accommodate 1 week on / 1 week off with 2 locum candidates for continuity purposes
- On-going need
- Out-patient Only
Candidate Requirements
- Active PA State Licensure
- DEA Required
- Must be board certified
- No procedures required (point of care testing)
- Required Certifications: BLS and PALS
- Minimum 3 years experience desired
Job Details
- Single physician practice
- Outpatient only
- Average 20 - 24 patients per day
- Average Admissions while on call: 2 per evening/weekend (will never need to go back onsite)
- Practice has an after hour answering service which will triage to the nurse triage team prior to reaching the person on call. APP’s will take call as well.
- Free standing clinic
- APP/Mid-level coverage: 3 APP’s on staff Mon-Fri
- Provider will work solo
- Typical cases seen: Well child visits, physicians, sick visits, med checks, ADHD ect
- EMR: Epic/Epicare
- Time to Credential: 120 days
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $150/hr for clinic, $150 for night call and $1500 for 24/hr weekend call.
