Pediatric opening in Maryland Located in Salisbury, MD Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join facility. Provide primary health care services to newborns, children, and adolescent patients. The Pediatrician deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric diseases. Additionally, the Pediatrician provides consultation to other members of the health care delivery staff. Pediatricians shall be qualified to serve on the active Medical Staff of hospitals utilized by facility to provide inpatient services, assume on call after hours duties and supervise staff nurse practitioners and physician assistants as appropriate. The Pediatrician reports to the Department Head of Pediatrics. This position is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package. - Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy - Successful completion of an approved residency program - Current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland with unrestricted prescription privileges and current Controlled Dangerous Substances and Drug Enforcement Agency Number - Board Certified or Board Eligible (actively seeking) in Pediatrics - No history of Medicare or Medicaid fraud - Bilingual is a plus but not required. Location: Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland surrounded by the beautiful Beaches of Ocean City, Assateague Island & the Chesapeake Bay.
